Looks like it is a very late 1947. It may be unusual having different sleeves and pistons than the norm.
Look up your casting codes on various cast pieces and you can tell for sure. It will be a letter that accompanies the casting number. If the parts are all original, it will be the same letter on most of the cast parts.

: have just bought farmall A with serial # 185241 and have not found the right link to identification. maybe one of you nice tractor lovers would help me, find the year made for this.
