A coworker was telling me that a friend of his dad was brushogging with an older gas tractor when he stirred up a yellow jacket nest. When the bees started stinging him, he took off in a higher gear through some brush to get away from them. Some limbs knock a spark plug wire loose, so when he was far enough away, he got off to put the wire back on while tractor was still running and got shocked. He let go of the wire and it fell on top of his other hand where he was stung. He claims that the sthings that got shocked started going down, so he shocked more stings and claimed the swelling went down as well as the pain. I planned to test this story if I ever get stung but have not have not been stung in a while. Hope I am not brushogging when it happens because my tractor is diesel.
