Driving home today I was passed by a souped up Duramax. As he passed me he hammered it and his truck belched a huge cloud of black smoke. His girlfriend happens to be the daughter of a former coworker and friend. So I called her and asked why her boyfriend would pass me then go the exact same speed that I was going and if he realized all the wasted fuel that makes up that black smoke. Then it dawned on me... I have become old as I was doing that very stuff just a few years ago when I had a Cummins. Now I look at all the pickups on the highways that are making black clouds on purpose and all I can think about is the money being wasted.
