They have ruined the antique tractor pulls just like the supper stock pulls. All it is any more is a pubilc showing of how big your billfold is. I know some guys with 50K in an old JD two cylinder setup to pull.
I like the ones that limit RPM and speed. That make the hopped up ones not do so well.
Also it is not going to be so funny when one of these guys blows up one of these old tractor flywheels. There are guys running two cylinder JDs at double the factory engine speed with the standard old cast stock flywheels. When that baby goes that little old tin cover is not going to do much.
