If you need to open things up on the supply side of things, put in ball valves when you are soldering. Then in the future if it happens again all you do is shut off the valve, remove the hose from the sink, put the hose in a bucket and open the valve to flush it.
I think you will find the problem is in the faucet though. Turn off the water, remove the hot water valve and flush out the faucet (you will need a second person to turn on the water while you shield water from spraying the ceiling).
Its a 1 beer job, shouldnt take more than a 1/2 hour or so. Even if you hate plumbing.
