I stopped riding years ago. While I was in the Army you had to wear long sleeves, gloves, long pants, shoes that covered the ankle, windshield or goggles/face shied and a helmet. Then they decided that you had to wear a reflective vest like road construction workers wear. That's when I quit riding.

Our Base Commander, upon assuming command of the base, immediately outlawed motorcycles and scooters. You could own one but had to keep if off the area. His previous experience at a training base with so many troops getting hurt, he made 'em illegal.
