I would suggest that you find out how much oil is supposed to be in the crankcase by looking it up in the manual, and the next oil change, only put in that amount. Sometimes dipsticks are calibrated wrong and if so, you might have more oil in there than it was designed for. An engine with too much oil might very well have problems with leaks, especially if you run them at high RPM"s for a long time.
By the way, I am interested in this 30 mile run, as I have never driven a tractor anywhere nearly that far on the road. Maybe that much going back and forth doing field work, but never on a road.
