OK Mark I'll take your word for it although most of the A/B/C Farmalls I have seen had no hydraulics at all. I watched one sell at auction, a C with a manual lift mounted cultivator. I've run a Super C and thinking about it did have live hydraulics but were not good for much except lifting the cultivator. Onlty seen Supers with after market 3 points on em. Never really looked at a Super A. Don't like the offset design too much.
Also on this I'm getting most of my info on the old IH stuff from the net. To me a tractor less than 50 hp just isn't a real good worker because of the lack of small towed implements available where you can still buy cat 1 3 point stuff new.
But just like tha A/B/C IH's and AC's the Ford N's could also do work. I'm just trying to figure out why people bash em so hard. The Super C I ran in the early 70's was a good tractor. Bout the only thing the owner used it for was mowing hay and pulling a 4 bar rake.
