That's the point. Compared to similar tractor of the era the N's were good tractors. If you are trying to compare them to the newer compact utilities.....well there is no comparison. Even the utilities that were made in the 60's and 70's were a much better tractor. Kind of like having a face off between the much vaunted M and a 504 Farmall. Just can't do it. If I could justify the cost I'd replace at least one of those N's for a JD compact utility of the same or slightly higher HP.
