Looks like that clip-pin on the left side just came un-clipped, and fell off, and the left-side bolt then just slipped out. Looks like it is bent just a little, at the bottom of the 2nd picture. That"s why I don"t trust those clip-pins at all. I"ve had them removed by brush, twigs, etc. I do have some that you have to press hard together to unclip, and they"re lots better.
