My Stihl chain saw is made in VA.Lots of bum info on the internet.Poulan saws are not worth bringing home.I put a new fuel line on my saw in 15 years,no other repairs.Cant see the logic in running a generator to run an electric chain saw.Hard enough to limb trees without having to drag extention cords around.Every one I know who works in the woods here for a living uses Stihl. saws.Smoke is not an issue with 50 to 1 fuel mix.Im 75 and use a chain saw and run a band saw mill.
