That is cool stuff, but nothing that Americans could not design. The county where my farm is located has a ditch cleaner similar to the one in the video at around the 2 minute location. They have gone crazy with it, they have ruined some of the well manicured and well draining ditches along our property frontage. It is the double edged sword. They OWN the right of way so we cannot do anything about their stupidity. BUT, the ditches have always drained well with no issues at all. They dig them just to help justify having the equipment and make it appear that the crews are busy. In places where it is not needed, it makes for a much more dangerous situation should someone run off in the ditch. With the depth and abrupt drop off, the vehicle is much more likely to either flip over or sustain more damage.
