Dave, Lowes less the worx saw for $120. Sears has the exact saw with craftsman on it for $100. Then they gave $15 off for getting a sears credit card, which I plan to cancel after I pay the bill. Used the $15 to buy a 1 year extended waranty. So I have 3 years to return it to sears. Got an extra chain with it too. Pluged it in and chain goes faster than most electrics. It sounds powerful too. 18 inch bar. Switch is easy to operate. I think it fits my needs perfectly.
BTW, I think I read Sthil saws are made in CH@#$
Plan to play with it tomorrow morning when it's cooler.
I think I got the saw for may age and health.
Also found a generator at Home Depot, it's a 6250 watt peak, 5000 watt Called a Husky. Owners give it a 5 star ratting. $600 and a Subaru motor. Uses about 1/2 gallon per hour at 50%. Don't think I could operate a chain saw that cheap. Not to mention the 2-c oil. George
