The calf is about 5 weeks old and this morning i could not find the calf the cow was bawling like crazy . So i find the calf in a mud hole completely covered in mud looked like a hog ( it could not get out on its own) Yes we had a little rain but nothing to speek of it was just in a low spot . I get the calf pulled out and I am just as muddy as the calf now. Get it to the pens we hose it off and it seems like the back legs do not want to work . I thought it was wore out from tring to get out of the mud it must have got in there sometime in the night. Hours later same thing pick up the calf the fronts work good and the back do not. I bottle fed the calf some and it is hungry. What would you guys do?
