I'll be 44 next month and have two baby teeth for molars. The adult teeth were never there. My dentist says that they probably won't last as long as the adult teeth because the roots aren't as long. I wouldn't worry about it until something happens with them. My baby teeth had extra long roots and didn't want to fall out even when the adult teeth tried to push them out. My mouth was a mess of extra teeth for a few years until my orthodontist got it straightened out. I seem to remember pulling some of my baby teeth myself when I was 16. I've had 1 cavity in my whole life.
