I don't see what is funny about this. The guy is trying to resale a stolen boat. The first seller stole it from the charity. Then putting the wrong registration numbers on the stolen boat is illegal too. The current seller is a real fool. If any law enforcement officer reads this they should go check it all out. It seems to me the current seller is going to be in trouble for receiving stolen property and the original seller is a thief.
I accidentally bought a item that was stolen a few years ago. I just called the sheriff and he came out and took my statement. I was in the clear legal wise but did loose what I had given for the item. The original owner did give me a small reward for helping them find the item. I am now a lot nosier about what I buy.
