I usually get about 35-40 small squares per acre from oats; a bit less when I did barley. That works out to about 1/2 bale per bu. per acre on the oats. Most I've ever gotten was just over 100 bales per acre, but that was some 6'+ tall rye, and I mowed and baled the stubble too.
