Just out of curiousity,if you have a donor vehicle why not take both gears? None of my buisness of course just curious.My personal experience says keep them together as a set not just one.most likely problem would be gear noise,followed right behind on the list with premature failure,then complete failure. i cant think of too many vehicles though where to get to one you wouldnt have direct access to the other. or that you wouldnt have to remove the one to get to the other.
