I'll be posting this in the Case section as well but for those who do not frequent there,
I went to an auction tonight and looked at a 3pt sickle mower I thought was an Oliver or possibly a JD. Well it turned out to be a Case IH. I never new Case painted anything green.
Any-how, I did some dig'n but have come up short on results. It appears to be in the E-7 family. I am looking to find out;
Approx. years made. Part numbers for knives. What the different models were (EH, EHN, EV, EVAS and EDSC) for model identification.
Also if anyone has, or use to use, one any tips or tricks to it? This thing looks as if they bought it, stuck it in the back of the barn, and never took it out. Has all it shields, couple extra knifes, and a good looking and solid wood pitman with the Case IH name and part number clearly visible on it.
It looks a lot like the one in this picture.
Oh, and I only spent a wopping $70 on it, so there is some room in the budget for a manual. Didn't see any thing on fle-Bay so if someone has a line on one I wouldn't mind knowing about it......
