It's plantar, so you're out of place and out of luck here!!!!!!! Heels spurs! So you need a cowboy site! When I was about 50, I started noticing when I got out of bed in the morning, as soon as my feet hit the floor, it felt like both heels were stepping on a spike. It would soon subside. But over time I had to do something. I've got some hard plastic inserts that push up on the arch of my foot. That also takes the pressure off the heel. I can't find work shoes I can wear any more. They seem to have such a pronounced heel. I wear shoes with the flattest sole possible, sneakers, etc. It seems to be under control. But I know it's there. Just like arthritis, high blood pressure, aging eyes, tender stomach, etc. etc.
