Yellow jacket is a small breed of wasp they can sting you many many times where as a bee can only sting you one time and doing so in turn kills them. Bee 99% of the time will leave you alone as long as you do not pinch them or attack there hive which is hard to do since bees nest in trees and other such things in the wild but yellow jackets on the other hand next in the ground and if you run over there nest yep they attack and they attack hard. I am a former bee keeper and I always hate it when people attack bees for what a wasp does
