It will be a little big for your needs but a JD 4400 combine gasoline engine (292 Chevy) would do the trick. They have a governor and different carb. than car/truck applications. They made millions of these engines, parts will be assy to find and you can convert to electronic ignition. The downside (aside from size) a combine is a high load factor application and salvage yard engines will probabily require a rebuild.
