lack of water

I have been trying not to let the lack of rain cloud my otherwise sunny disposition.

We sure don"t need anymore sun, though.

I noticed yesterday that I am losing more and more trees around the barnyard with this drought. Most are in the 30 foot range but some are larger. Do trees ever go dormant in this kind of a situation (like the grass did back in May)? I have just assumed that there will be a lot less shade to park tractors under, but I would giggle like a girl if these leafed out next year.

Anyone know?
