Your float may be stuck or may have a hole causing it to sink. It may have dirt under the needle valve not allowing the float to shutoff the gas flow. Shut the gas off at the tank and start the engine when the engine starts to quit open the shutoff and see if it floods again. You may need to open up the carburetor after removing it and give it a good cleaning using carb cleaner and air pressure to blow out the jets. Shake that float to see any gas is in it. Hal
