I dug my first dinner of new spuds last Thursday over here in N.Ireland, very early for our place. I planted the last week in Feb, but only put in 100 sets. We have had loads of rain this month and you can tell by the soil. My dinner was sort of 'Home produced' The potatoes, beans and cabbage were from my garden the (overcooked!) egg was from our hens , my brother makes the sausages and my sister makes cheese for the sauce!
