BKT tires are made in India, right?
I'll probably get lambasted for saying this but between the two, India makes much better stuff than China as a general rule.
Other than that, you've got your Firestones, Titans (Good Year?), and Michelins. Michelins are crazy expensive. Titans are probably the least expensive of the USA brands.
