Looks like I got lucky with this one. I did as Allan said, added a little fluid and then ran her about 20 miles, then topped off the fluid and I had no leaks! I had planned to take my son to a Motocross Race 2 hrs north of here in Blanchard OK yesterday afternoon and we usually pull a 26ft car hauler when we go racing. I got a little nervous when I read Brokenwrench's concern that the seal could have been damaged. I decided to give it a try anyways. Took a little extra fluid and planned to just turn around if it started leaking again. I stopped after about 20 minutes, 45 minutes and at 1.5 hrs and had absolutely no leaks. Ran her straight home hard last night and everything is still good.
Thanks to Allan and all who posted. Also, Brokenwrench, I will take your advice about the billet converter etc. when it comes time to either replace the trans or rebuild it. I bought this truck new and plan to keep her.
