2nd year for 24 ft pool. Last winter I bought a "poly tarp" style cover that secures with a cable around the pool. I used the pillow in the center and kept excess water off. the Cable promptly wore through the paint on the sides of the pool in several spots and the cover is worn thin. I pass a house every day that has a cover like a truck tarp and he secures his with ropes to the ground all the way around pulling it tight on the pillow, thus avoiding pooling and no cable rubbing. Any one have a cover like this? What brand is it? And, spare me the "glad to see my pool go" lecture.
