As I am supposed to use talc on the seed in my new JD air planter I was a little interested when I heard of some talc based stuff that also supposedly did something for the plant, yield boost, blah, blah, etc. etc. So when the guy came by promoting it I didn't chase him away. He left a $250 pail of it. I read the ingredients list. It contained TRACE amounts of micronutrients. I figured the cost compared to the micronutrients I buy in my dry fert. I would have had to buy his stuff by the boat load. So I e-mailed him and asked what it was in this stuff that did the job. His reply was "we are stimulating root growth, not building soil fertility". I replied that if he had a sample I could try, I would. The pail sets here untouched awaiting his return.
