Wheat Farmer, what does it mean to 'call your number' on the ditch there?
I live in a part of MN with clay soil, too much snow melt, too much rain, the ditches were dug in the 1950's to get rid of excess water, typically the subsurface soil water is very close to the ground surface, we have springs just comne out of sidehills there is so much water - typically. I just had 4 miles of tile installed into a 40 acre field to get it to drain better, it already had 4 lines in it dad put in decades ago to dry it up enough to make it mostly farmable.
I know Colorado has different conditions, opposite, and your rules and laws are very different. You can't even collect rainwater from a roof out there? Irrigation is very rationed out?
