No you need to find and download a good anti bot and anti malware program plus removal tools for the same and run em. Don't think someone hacked yer account. But you opened something (could be an infected email from someone you know) that contained one of the above. Now that program is active and spamming stuff to everyone on your address list. They in turn without something dectecting it will do just what yours had done. SIL has it happen to her al the time because she opens every forward that she gets, even from unknown senders. Then make sure you have a good AV program (yes there are good ones for free while I prefer one I pay for) set up and running.
