Going on a little vacation Monday and the A/C in my 2005 Caravan is acting up. It must have a small leak in it since I had it charged last year and needed it again this year. Now it has lost the charge again it seems. I bought one of those cheap(waste of money) recharge kits that you only can hook up to the low pressure side. The guage says it is all charged. the problem is the compressor will not kick in, I jumped it and it will kick on if hot-wired, but not with the controls, even with the defrost on. The fuse is good and I exchanged the relay with one that I knew was good. I don't know anything beyond the basics about air conditioners (obviously) what am I missing here?
