Works the other way, too. People will receive something and then not pay for it. Claim it was lost, or it was no good, but won't send it back, or they said since it was no good they threw it out, etc. etc. I had a guy buy 200 bales of hay for $3 a bale. Paid for it with cash. Came back 3 weeks later and said the hay was no good, I want my money back. So I say "I'll come get the hay and give you your money back for however many are left." He says "Oh, since it was no good, I gave it to my neighbor the landscaper to seed a lawn." So I say "well, your neighbor owes you $3 a bale" and walked away. Never saw him again.
