They're good pickups. I drive that same model - 2006 standard cab. I think I get about 14 mpg on the highway but don't really check mileage much. If you need a 3/4 you need a 3/4 and mileage is not the determining factor. This is my second one. Had an 01 before this and put 150K mi on it. Only problem I ever had was a seal on the transfer case was leaking. This one has about 94K on it and no problems yet. I can't say about the price except like tractors they're too high when you buy one and too low when you sell one.
