we had them really bad too. i started setting out traps and have to keep my fruit trees sprayed with sevin too. i hooked my beetle traps up to old plastic drums so they can hold a whole bunch of the little devils. lot of guys dont like the traps because it brings the beetles in, but when you get 10 to 15 gallons of dead beetles a week, it sure puts a dent in the population. heres a couple pics of my beetle traps. i cut a hole in the bottom of the bag and tape it to a pipe, then stick that in the barrel.
