I chuckle every time I read a post like this. My new part from "the land of almost right" won't fit right, don't work right, don't look right, etc.. Who's to blame? Of course not those who stand at the counter and tell you your part costs too much and I want cheaper. I was told that enough times that I finally decided it wasn't worth my trouble to try and compete. Not only did I stop making parts that were still available from other suppliers, I also stopped making custom parts that are no longer available. Most parts like the bowl bail I'm surprised are even available anymore at a run of the mill parts store.
