Well, the tedder is back together, thought I`d better post the conclusion. Was able to find some of the tine arms I needed, but still over $100 each, so I went and had a talk with Greer Tank and Welding, and they ended up making me 36 of them, for $18.40 each, including the cost of the steel. Went to the local JD dealer, looked at what they had for tines, and am converting the thing over to JD tines, they end up being the same length, but a better design so I will change them over a few at a time. Then I found a guy that can build the shaft I need this winter, it should make it through the season until then. And then I built a jig to reshape the spindles, and liberally reinforced them. So now almost all the bugs have been fixed, and for much cheaper than a new one.
