Kind of like everything else on TV; made up.
To get on the show you do not just show up. You send a email to the producer of the show and they pick who will be on it per the item you have for sale. I am sure if you had a good item you could go on; sell the item for the show and leave with the item once the camera is off with a few bucks for being on the show.
It is kind of funny watching shows that are made in your area because you know the rules and the area. A local magazine was talking about how to get gator tags. In the artical they said do not expect the drama seen on TV when gator hunting. And do not even get me started about that crazy logger. He lives down the street from me.
