I agree that seniority was not always correct but in my kids school the teachers they let go had more seniority and were better teachers! No system is perfect but the principal in the school is clueless. In the high school in town the safest teacher in regards to their job is the football coach. He too them to the state title game but is a horrible teacher by all accounts. I person was let go in their department but he kept his job! Aware we preparing people to excel in college or are we creating football players? He is king of the castle right now in the school district. What he wants he gets. The stories I have heard!
