Like some of the others i prefer the rifle idea, but for quick and fast go down to home depot or the like and get some repellent ( called critter away or something of that nature) it does work if you remember to re-apply it again after rains and things.I used it a couple of years ago when squirrels were eating my tomatoes. I'm pretty sure its a pepper type thing, thats what it smells like .Years ago my grandma would sprinkle black or red pepper on her garden to get rid of animals,bugs and things. Of course,young rabbit, green beans, and new taters makes some mighty fine groceries. And you can think of it as sort of a second harvest the good lord gave you as a bonus!LOL
