I bought a $3.20 per gallon, 89 octane gasoline in SD during a recent trip and I noticed no difference in gasoline mileage. Their 87 octane was $.10 more per gallon? My 2006 Impala got between 30 and 33 mpg no matter what I put in it. Here in Pa I think they add the 10% ethanol, but give you an 87 octane which causes the mpg drop. Pa gives you no price break or octane break whatsoever.
