If any state government wanted to do that I'd have no problem with it. Citizens of individual states can vote for whatever they want in their state, and people can move to, or away from, what they like or don't like. That's the beauty of our system. States try stuff, people like it or don't and react, the other states see the results and and improve on ideas, things get better, everyone benefits. Centralized government never works.
It's just not right the Feds coming in and doing it without state approval. Far too much power in DC.
