I don't doubt it a bit; sheriff's department 2 counties from me wanted to buy and use some; I've forgotten their reasons......tracking/law enforcement, etc. THEY PROMISED THAT THEY WOULDN'T BE MISUSED........to spy on you in your backyard, look thru your windows, etc. YEAH, RIGHT!!!! So far, the county commissioners have put the idea on hold, but I'm sure it'll come back up. Coupla cities in that county already have redlight and traffic cams.........strictly for safety reasons, of course. The fact that the smaller of the cities (population about 10,000) has collected $200,000 in fines in the last year has nothing to do with it.
