i used to buy sweet corn 25# at a time from seedway, and had a bunch that wasn't used the purchase year. i have been using up my old inventory of sweet corn seed the last couple years with no problems. this year, my brother took some and we both planted early. none came up. he hit the panic button after the second planting hadn't showed through and bought new seed. few days later, both our second plantings came up in acceptable populations. i think it has been screwy weather conditions, not the seed.
