As mentioned below we are being overrun with raccoon. (IN) When they were supposed to be hibernating this past winter they were apparently instead doing something else from the looks of our population this summer. What is the smallest caliber handgun that you guys have had any success with in plinking them at close range. I mean most likely less than 40-50 ft shot to critter. Will.22LR ammo take them out at that range. Also will what barrel length do you use. What has been your experience.
