I had a bunch of those 6 ton ratchet stands and they worked great, they were imports at about $25 a pair, one day was done working under a truck and jacked it up to remove the stands and one was broke right in the middle of the ratchet area, took the weight off and clank, it fell right on the floor! I gathered ALL them up and tossed them in the scrap. Went to NAPA and bought a bunch of AMERICAN made 6 ton stands for about $100 a pair. Went to both of my son's places and gathered all there import stands and said Merry Xmas boys, here are some AMERICAN MADE ONES!! There made by Hein-Werner Automotive, when it comes to lifting equipment, buy American.
