This spring my daughters two horses left our little hobbby farm. Over the years the horses had simply trampled down any vegitation in the paddock and surround pasture. Just your normal wear and tear,I guess. I had the area roto-tilled by a neighbor and planted pasture mix seed along with oats for a nurse crop.My question is this--the oats are now 6-7 inches tall--should I mow it now or ? The grass/pasture mix below the oats seem to be coming along fine. Thanks
