The HD213 is an older engine than those trucks left the factory with. IH and Willys both purchased the HD213 from Wilson Manufacturing in the 1930's...but when the K-series trucks came out, IH was building their own version of that engine, which they called the Green Diamond (GRD) 214. The GRD214 was built at IH's Indianapolis engine plant, and it is NOT the Green Diamond engine, although it WAS the forerunner to the GRD.
There's an outfit called BinderBooks that sells the manuals for these trucks, but since they also sell manuals for the tractors, the folks at this site don't like to let posts with their link stay here very long. Try www.binderbooks.com .
Parts sources are out there, but they're few and far between. Unlike Ford and Chevy, there's not a lot of aftermarket support...and since that engine was never used in a farm tractor, the CaseIH supply chain isn't much help, either.
Try the folks over at www.oldihc.org ...there are some real K-series gurus over there [I'm not one of them; my knowledge runs more to the L-series trucks].
