Question is not about an old car, but is about the element mercury. Guy I know restores 100 yr old clocks. Sometimes he will replace old discolored mercury in the weights with new which is very pricey. He could probably get rid of the old at HazMat collection day but seems like the old may have value. With all the knowledge on this board, anyone have experience with this? I am well aware of how toxic this is, so no lectures please. Pete
