I have a John Deere MI that I'm mounting a new (to me) set of 11.2x24 tires and new Firestone innertubes. I mounted everything and got it aired up...and noticed a problem. The valve stem sticks out so far from the rim that the valve stem nut doesn't touch the rim at all!
Here's a picture of the valvestem (I had to dismount again because I pinched the tube, my fault). When it's in the rim, the entire thing sticks through the hole in the rim. The rim itself is unmolested and appears to be unmodified. Are there any solutions to this, as it appears the tube is designed this way!
